got a speeding ticket in VA Beach....first ticket in VA...merry christmas.

the officer said i could go online and see how much the ticket is...so i did that...however nowhere can i find a fee of the ticket. only court cost etc.

whats the going rate for a ticket in va beach so i will have an idea...

Just look on the summons what court or whatever. It might not be posted up there if it just happened. I know it took mine a week or 2 to be posted.

I got the ticket in a school zone, BUT I didn't know I was speeding because I turned right before those stupid blinking lights. I even saw the cop watching me on the island so I looked down at the speedometer and I was like I'm cool I'm going 50, then he pulled me over lol. I told him what happened and he was like I'll hook you up... I thought he'd let me go since it was my first ticket, but he was like "I won't give you reckless driving"...lol. I should've went to court I'm sure they would've dismissed it, but I had work at the time so oh well.

 

Go to court and say you're sorry and that it will never happen again.

 

naw i know somebody that did the same thing and got 40 hours of community service and driving school
