Default Computer recycling?

I was wondering if anyone knows of local places that recycle computers/monitors. They are to shitty to sell and are taking up a lot of room!

Thanks

If your desire to recycle stems from environmental concerns, reusing is a lot better. Computer recycling often means shipping the computers to China where people without any protective gear break them down and release their toxic chemicals into drinking water.

Yeah I watched a thing on it, I would send it to HP but shipping would be horrible

Depending on what kinda of stuff you have, I'd take some of it off your hands.

Ive got several old scsi and low capacity ide hdds(have some up to 160gig, but those I'd want $10-20 for, depending on the capacity), as well as a couple(maybe 3) 17" crt monitors, some atx(20pin) power supplies, and a 21" crt monitor(I'd want $5-10 for that)

15 inch compaq CRT
17 inch hp CRT

I've got the towers for both of them but they would need work to be used.

my company recycled some computers and such through M&W computer Services last May. There was a fee involved but I'm not sure how much, I pay no attention to cost. We had them wipe & destroy harddrives and take several old monitors. Occasionally some random places will offer electronic recycling for free, outside of popular places like schools, libraries, Dumps/landfills, but I haven't heard of any lately though.

No I don't work for them.
