i just bought a 360 and gears of war 2. i like doing the hordes but we can only make it to lvl 38 with 4 people. just trying to see if anyone else around here plays much so we can beat it on hardcore :-D

i just got this game and its pretty sick. 3 friends and I went through all the way to 49, but couldnt beat lvl 50 haha

beat Horde mode, have all achievements but like 4 i think.

I get on every afternoon.

 

im not sure what the name of it is, but its the one with a courtyard in the center and one end of the map has an elevated area with a set of stairs on each side.

 

oh yea day one i think. thats the one im stuck on , seems like the easiest to beat but its not

 

Avalanche is the map of choice. srsly. mortar + grinder respawn there and stairs on each side, enemy's come from in front of you.


Also remember that shields, turned backwards, cannot be kicked over by the Drones. and before a round ends pick up the shields, kill last enemy, so as they dont disappear begining of the next round.

this is honestly the best strategy in beating Horde.
