ok i herd there was this website where you could see what rods and bistons are compatable and what kinda numbers theyed make, and body herd of it?

thnx bro. lookin to find out what rods and stuff i could use (like putting b16 rods in a ls block)

So than why are you asking about getting it built? Using stock honda parts interchangeably is not building shit.

I had cp pistons and scat forged rods. Along with a new type-r oil pump, etc. Used a cometic head gasket and never had a issue. My car was on 10lb for about 25,000+ miles and never once even had a hickup.

Oh, my head was also built stock ls motors don't like to be revved past 7-7.4k. So you definitely need to at least upgraded springs and retainers. Cams wouldn't hurt.

cspeedracing is the place to go, they have a lot of good tech write ups. if your going turbo you might as well do a ls/v. the better rod stroke of a ls and better flowing head of a VTEC series motor. There have been fully built lv/s to see 700hp

"Better" R/S ratio for torque/power, not a "better" R/S for longevity, just so that there is no confusion.
