Re: 96 eclipse has no spark
i didn't buy it i traded a 92 blazer w/ a lower end knock for it.... but anyway.... i tested this thing for like about 30 minutes last night and found i had no juice to the coil in koeo or while cranking but i do have ground and no juice means 0 volts/ no reading on my multimeter.... i am not sure what is in sequence with the coil (pcm, cam sensor, crank sensor, asd relay, and vss) so basically i am looking for a wiring diagram and i location diagram for all the listed parts.... i can and will figure it out but i don't wanna spend forever on it so any usefull info will be greatly appreciated

norfolk
i just picked up a non turbo eclipse w/ a 2.0L and after i got it towed to my house i started going through it and found that it had no spark. upon further diagnosis i found that i had no signal or power to the ignition coil but i do have ground. after i looked this up and researched it a little bit i found that cam sensor, crank sensor, speed sensor, and pcm can all cause this problem. now i'm not really familiar with dsm's i am more of a honda guy so this is like chinese to me and instead of beating my head against a wal i thought that maybe somebody here on drag had run into something like this before and could maybe point me in the right direction otherwise i gotta go through this damn thing wire by wire and i really don't have time for all of that.... anybody who has any helpful info please feel free to respond.... thanx
