After starting the thread "Is my civic guardian angel telling me to go B-Series?". I figured it was time to start a new thread. This thread is open to any opinions you have. Feel free to say whatever you like and fight for the motor you feel is the best as for as performance, being turbo or supercharged, longevity and etc.

 

I'm liking my B16 but everyone knows K is the best

There are so many factors to consider. Everymotor has its strong points & weak points.
It all depends on what you are planning to do with the motors also as well. $ also plays a big role.
I have seen beast ass all motor sohc & dohc motors as well as boosted versions.
D series is cheap & parts are cheap when breaking.
B series is better than D IMO parts are not as cheap but also plentiful.
K series is best out of the box stock I'm besides the F20.
However you can build a b series to out match these & possibly a D series. But when building a k its expensive, however, you will gain more since your starting with more. & also every engine won't swap into every car easily or cheaply.

I just hate B16's because of lack of torque, but boosted :dance: Different beast!
