bring your car, but you will be leaving it in the cage for days, if not weeks at a time. most of the campus is free to park at after 5, but the drillfield doesnt open up to everyone till after 7 or 8 i dont think. you wouldnt want to bring you car from the cage to the drillfield everynight, it wouldnt gain you anything. it does help a lot tho trying to get around, especially if you live in harper or cocherane and its just a 2 minute walk from your dorm. if you live in presidents quad or the upper quad its a very long walk to get your car out of the cage.

Though many people forget the terrific asset known as the Stadium lot. You are allowed to park there all the time except during football games.

The main reason that having a car when living on campus sucks is you really can't park anywhere, you're bound to get a bunch of door dings, and if you try parking somewhere you shouldn't youll end up with a bunch of tickets (I think I got 5 last fall alone)

However, Im an architecture major and I know I always had to go to walmart, home depot, lowes, etc. For that it made life so much easier. You can always just make friends with someone who has a car, but when you do that unless they let you drive their car, you're gonna be at their will.

It's a PITA to park, but its better then the bus when you have to go into town to get stuff like groceries.
