Default '56 chevy 3600 step-side.

* Price: $2,000 OBO

I recently happened upon a decent condition - rolling - '56 stepside. I have the title.

I got this truck from helping someone, this is not my kind of project, not now at least. Overall it seems nice, but given the age, and ignorance of previous owners, I question their upkeep. The person i got this from had for some reason felt the need to disassemble random areas of the truck. this was removed, but remains with the truck, large parts laying in the bed - the gauges, the FL fender, the headlights,the grille, hood hinges, left door, right door latch/striker, rear bumper, the seat WAS refurbished. the engine has external parts pulled from it - the intake/exhaust manifolds, carb, etc. I have just recently gotton this truck - it was tarp covered, and stationary on an asphalt drive prior to my recieving it. I was told it was driven regularly prior to being parked there. It currently is in an enclosed shed, away from rain/snow/wind on a hard wood floor. some of the glass is cracked, and/or removed (still have).

Overall there are no signs of a crash/damage, i have yet to spot any noticeable dents...if there are any. I did have to disassemble the RF drum/shoes to make it mobile for tow, the hub is still attached, and spinning. the rear floating axles where pulled as well, the trans is still in gear i believe - all to help with my tow. they are in the bed, bolts where saved. I have a few boxes of original, as well as NEW parts for it that came with the truck. I have not had time to go through them to see whats what, but they are pretty full. It has a straight 6 and 3 on the tree trans. I also have a Factory service manual, an original owners manual, and a couple extensive parts books!

Minimal rust damage - mostly small corners. for some reason this truck was painted by brush with what I think is latex yellow and green paint. originally creme' color.

Any questions - feel free to message ,listed price is a market generalization. feel free to make an offer.

dont know where any damage, or problems are from, but yes that is a rise/crease in the fender.

i know that in your ad it says no signs of crash or damage...and its right there eye level..

not talking shit but be honest...90 % of vehicles this age are beat up and rusty...

you really need to show pics of the rockers/cab corners/inner structure of the doors(bottoms)/the cowl/the drip rail around the roof...all the places where they typically rust

will do, remember, i am being honest from what I see. dents and dings should be expected, as well as rust. ill see if i can snap off some more pics that you mentioned as soon as i can, sadly will probably be in a week or so.
