the little quick jump drop down on the bottom right isn't there anymore. I miss it dearly.

 

Removed as per vBulletin recommendation. Is there anything in particular you used it for?

 

I mostly used it when at the end of a thread to get back to the forum said thread was posted in (to avoid scrolling back up to the top of the page to hit the link up there). but also occasionally to jump from one forum to another without having to go through the main page.

 

Well since it didn't really change what was being tested and I can't see any easy way to duplicate the functionality you were using it for I turned it back on ... for now.

why do they recommend turning it off?

 

Because of the HTML it generates for the forums, the more forums you have the worse it is.
