i was driving on 264 towards the oceanfront this morning and got pased by a light brown or tan, 08 or 09, 4 door civic type-r. was i not awake or did honda release it this year? or did this guy just pull of the SI and stick on a Type-R badge?

 

well if it was brown or tan, it wasnt a legit type r, Honda hasn't released this yet, they probably won't because it will be a $30k civic basically like another Mugen. If was probably an LX or EX that did the type-r conversion because Si's dont come in tan.

 

i didnt think so, plus i think it only had like 16's on it. my friend in Tulsa Has a mugen, hes trying to sell it, because its not really all that.

Yeah, Mugen's were not worth it at all IMO unless you were going to garage it and wait many many years and have it become somewhat of the ITR is today. But 30 grand for a civic is rediculous, I mean come on, its a civic...
