HID Fogs in OEM Housings

I was just curious...Can I put HID bulbs in my 99-00 EK foglight housings? They are H3, and I know I can find vendors selling that size. But it doesn't look as if they are made for anything besides halogen bulbs.

if the foglights take a standard h3 bulb and you have a set of H3 HIDs, they will work. Same concept as doing the switch into a headlight.
