Default Coilover install in a 96 prelude

im about to do a coilover install in a 96 prelude. I finally got a Aircompressoer and some tools for it. Well just wondering i have never delt with a prelude before. well i am wondering if a spring compressor is need to take off the spring off the shock/strut.

its helpful but not neccesary. do like i did and just slowly take it apart until it pops, then just make sure no pieces go flying.

btw why do you need an aircompressor for it? i installed my lowering springs with just simple tools. allen key and some wrenches. the coilovers are shorty than the stock springs so you dont have to compress them to put them back on.

its just makes life easier mahn. i dont want my ass to be struggling on a daymn bolt all day long.

stock springs? if so.. i'd use the spring compressor.

i just installed gc coilover/tokico struts on my 93 lude... if youve done it before.. can be done in about 20 minutes per corner. really straight foward when you look at it.. pretty much the same thing as an accord.

if you already have the spring compressor than use it. you dont really have to compress them much, just get them binded together so they dont decompress and shoot off. but if oyu dont, i wouldnt waste 30 bucks to go buy a set.
