GSXR Oil Pump Replacment

How hard is it to replace the oil pump? I looked in the manual and I'm a bit hesitant because you have to remove the clutch. I'm pretty handy with a wrench but it seems to be a big job. Most shops around me want ~$500 to do it.

Taking a clutch off is incredibly easy, just find a good manual if that is all you are afraid of.
