Default 1983 Rabbit L 8v...weber, borla, techtonics

$1500 as is.....shoot me offers lowball the hell out of me i need this gone

Name: Weston
Location: Phoebus, right outside of Ft. Monroe
Contact: 757-871-4970 or PM

I'm looking to sell my 83 Rabbit L. Four speed, odometer reads 123k, but its works on and off so its more than that. its pretty solid, surface rust here and there, some rust on the back drivers side where that seam where they all rust.

so the good....
Weber carbed
new clutch, the guy i bought it from about 7 months back had recently replaced it
Techtonics 2.25" aluminized steel exhaust installed about 4 months ago
Borla stainless muffler... definitely sounds good
new battery and terminals/cables
all door cards are in alright condition
no major dents... just a bunch of dings
aftermarket steering wheel
lowering springs...dont know what kind. theyre purple if that helps lol

the bad....
i gutted the interior from the front seats back, i had the intentions of re-carpeting everything but didnt
no back seats, put them to the curb
battery dies on random occasions....it will last maybe a month, maybe more then it dies.
ignition rewired to a push button on dash
windows need some coaxing to roll up
some rust....check out the pics
passenger side door has a lot of small dings and scratches across it
needs to warm up for a few mins before driving it right away when its cold
ac/heat delete
windshield wiper fluid delete
no radio...it was draining the battery
a little jacked up in the rear since theres nothing back there to weigh the car down and equal out the suspension

on with the pics....

all in all its a fun little car to drive around. the only reason im getting rid of it is to fund my 87 gti project. it gets pretty good gas mileage. its not the fastes thing out there on the road. tops out at about 85 haha. but what can i say its an 8v.

will get more pics up...links are broken

The wheels/stance makes me want to drink draino, but it's still a very very nice car for $1800.

Needs slam/flush/diamonds/thin whitewalls/rust repair, but even after all that, bargain like wow.

the wheels aren't bad. just that stance.

maybe if they were flush, instead of poking out so far. it would be hot

bump for fellow dubber.
