He'll need the pedal assembly, master cylinder, slave cylinder, clutch lines(either stock hard lines or flexible steel braided lines), transmission, shift linkage w/shift knob, flywheel(with the proper bolts), clutch(with it's proper bolts), manual transmission axles, half shaft(aka intermediate shaft), brake fluid. If you want the interior pieces to match, you'll need a cluster and shift boot.

I know it's just a civic. But he wants to do it. So I'm seein who can. And it's money for who ever is doing it.

Go to honda-tech and look it up, there is a walkthrough over there, and the cost of all the parts is not worth it.

Just go buy a manual civic like stated before.

or he can put a cable trans in it and all he would have to do is get the clutch pedal for cable trans and a cable, shift linkage

You don't need new axles and half shaft. Automatic axles/shaft work just fine.

Hey I just realized I have everything that you would need to do this swap, besides the tranny and shift linkage. If you want it I will sell it to you cheap.

I like how you brush off the two major parts like it's nothing to get.
