The Official Rockwood Park Meet Thread
Drag Central VA Meet hosted by Team Godspeed
Who: Drag VA members
Where: Rockwood Park [Directions below]
When: October 12, Noon
Why: Because I said so.
To reserve the shelter for under 50 people all day will cost $36, so please don't invite a ton of people who are outside the Dragva loop.
We need people to sign up to bring food/drinks/plates/etc. Reply to this with what you're bringing and I'll add it to the list. If you want to bring something not on the list (I know I probably missed something,) just post it. Here's what we need:
Note: bring at least enough for 15 people. Also bring tupperwear if you want to keep the leftovers.
Hotdogs: 1evils10
Hamburgers: nic
Some sort of side:
Hotdog/Hamburger buns: badbeck
Condiments (ketchup, etc): badbeck
Plates/Napkins: Phil
Cups: spike_um [john]
Silverware: spike_um [john]
Soda: mstr22u, 10 2liters.
Ice: Allen
Chips: Allen
Phil: Phil
Cooler/Charcoal: Manuel
There is also a volleyball court, baseball field and I believe a horseshoe pit. If you want to play, bring equipment.
I also want to have a cruise, but I'm not sure of the interest. I figured we could do a short cruise, but if we decide to make it longer, it's all good. For a short one, I think we could just head all the way down Genito until we hit the small gas station there (good photo ops?), then head toward Skin Quarter and take that back to Hull St. If we have enough interest in the cruise I will make a route map.

you are gonna confuse people.
We need to make a pseudo-guest list too so we can count the amount of people.

Directions: From Richmond, take SR 76/Powhite Parkway South to Courthouse Road in Chesterfield County. Turn left onto Courthouse Road/Rt. 653 and travel 1.4 miles. Rockwood Park is located south of the Powhite Expressway just before reaching Hull Street (US 360). Turn left into the park.
