Longboard (surf not skate)
I've attempted to learn to surf the last two summers. By "attempted to learn to surf" I mean I've gone out once each summer and then given up. So I want my own board this go 'round and I'm going to go out every day til I can pop up and ride out an entire wave. Anyone have an old longboard lying around they want to sell for a decent price?

i have a 9 ft board for 400, it looks brand new other than the standard pressure dings.
probably outta your price range but i figured id put it out there.
mad easy to learn on! it doesnt rock in the water at all. and you can ride the baby waves haha

Yep. If all else fails I might grab one of those boards from Sam's Club for $399. The brand is Maverix and they are 9'0. They actually get decent reviews and it's better than nothing.

Check out surf adventure. They have a ton of boards they will let you demo for free (for an hr.) so you can ride it before you buy it. And they have longboards for around $400
