it'll be better to upgrade ur whole exhaust system, free flowing less restrictions ect.
if u do keep stock exhaust u will hold back potential power and it will not sound as good

3 inch stock on an si......i dont know about that. I think its 2 1/4. If you run stock exhaust it would be ok probably, if it is 2 1/4, but if you use stock exhaust and a stock muffler you wont be able to make much boost, and theres gonna be a lot of pressure building in your exhaust. if you really want stock sound while being boosted, tune it with 2 boost settings (high and low), and get an electric exhaust cutout, it will sound stock and run good on low boost, and sound really nasty in high boost with the cut out open imo.

you can use your stock exaust yes
will not make the same power as the same settings with a 3"
you will just need to get the stock exhaust swaged to match the 3" dp or get a reducer or have one made to adapt from 3" to stock size

e-cut is your only option.... i just dont recommend building a turbo setup around an exhaust system/sound. It's like building an intercooler piping around fog lights..... Get pass all that and you will have a better performing set-up.
