I turn 21 tomorrow and my grandfather is giving me his Smith and Wesson 44 magnum revolver. I'm looking for a good (and inexpensive) shooting range near the Kempsville area, or maybe Lynhavenn/Princess Anne area. And if you want to recommend any other places in the 757 go ahead, chances are I'll be checking out more than one place.

Anyone want to go shooting this weekend?

Bob's is ok for pistols but A and P's range is much longer.

 

I'm not really a fan of Bob's. I prefer Superior, but a little of that is due to how close it is.

 

thanks for the recommendations. Actually I have been to Bob's in Norfolk before, its the only range I've ever shot at before (obviously not with my own gun). But it might be a little far.

Do you guys know how much it costs to shoot at a&p?

 

Not alot.. I mean i never really noticed cause its not like 100's of dollars maybe 15 or 20 ...

 

I think it was like $10 to shoot.. little more if you actually rent a gun and buy ammo.

I want to go shooting this weekend.. lack of fund hurts my chances though. If I could go, I'd head to Camp Allen not A&P.

 

Superior on VB Blvd is $10 for lane rental, since you've already got a gun, you'd only have to pay for lane rental and targets. A&P should be the same I think.

 

Cool, thats not bad. I think my girlfriend wants to shoot too lol. She'll have to rent one though, as I doubt she'll be wanting to shoot that magnum.
