I have researced and done everything I could think of. I had to replace the driver side motor mount on my 93 intgra ls with the b18. Finished and hooked the alternator back up and now it won't start. Ran GREAT the day before. Checked all the wires, fully charged battery, good starter, good alternator, and all wire are connected. I did notice that my ground wire to the battery was coroded and exposed. But wanted to make sure it wasn't something else before I replaced it. I'm using this thread as a last ditched effort before spending money I do not have right now.

 

You check the chassis ground to tranny? or any ground? you blow the ecu fuse? do your lights come on or is there no power at all? You might have blown a fuse if your alternator wire grounded out

 

all wires are connected, i get juice to everything else in the car, and alt wire isnt touching anything metal.

 

you turn key and nothing happens? or does it turn over and not start

 

i turn the key and nothing.....lights stay on, hear the starter clicking but won't turn over.

 

I'd double check that fuse box for a blown fuse. You most likely shorted that alt wire.

 

any power to the little wire on your starter when u hit the key?

 

make sure u have the ground from the starter to somewhere on the chassis of the vehicle.

 

ok....will mess with it again tomorrow. thanks everyone for the input...it is greatly appreciated. will let you know if it starts tomorrow or not.

 

fix the ground wire on the batt and it will probably start
