1993 240sx HICAS S13 5spd 105k miles
Ok I think I am going to try and sell this. I am going to be trying to move out of the area, and I need to let go of my plans for building/ tuning this.
Good:
Under 105K miles I forgot to check exactly.
Manual Trans in really good shape, no grinding, smooth shifts.
SE Wheels which I believe will clear the Z32 brakes, these are not the square cut spoke wheels, they look like the other shape which will barely clear.
6-bolt Viscous LSD seems to lock really well, I know this car handles significatly better then my previous non HICAS.
Quicker Hicas Steering Rack
ABS
Newly Inpected
Really good interior as far as dash and door panels, normal condition rugs and rear seat.
Newly professionally sealed front lower and upper timing covers, valve cover gasket, and full tune up, including pulgs, wires, synthetic oil, cap and rotor, fuel filter.
New water pump, thermostat, and belts.
New front outer tie-rods and alignment.
Working HVAC
Fully working Gauge Cluster
NOT GUTTED!!!
RUST Free underbody, strut towers, hatch, and fenders. One or two spots of surface rust, where the paint peeled.
Rocker Panels are nearly Perfect
BAD:
Oh soo many dents and dings. Not gonna lie if it didn't have so many annoying dents and dings, I would not be selling this.
BAD paint Obviously.
Fender pretty dented, but I have another red one thats nearly perfect, but similarly faded red. (included)
HICAS inop of course.. Not sure what is wrong, don't really care.
Timing chain rattle. I cleaned and freed up the tensioners and it improved but still I think the upper section of the chain could use new tensioners.
Tires. Pretty old and crappy
Will need brakes soon, not in great shape right now.
No radio
Price is hard to determine, there is no rice on this car, no crap mods and ebay garbage.
But its not pretty I know. Really Low mileage, truly rust free underbody, good start if you can finish the car.
I will start at 2500 OBO this is OBO and I will consider trades, has to run well!!
