Default Classified sections

I understand the need for a motorcycles for sale and parts section, but isn't offroad/4x4 parts for sale a little redundant? Theres already a very well organized section for automotive part.

IMO, I think we would do without the 4x4 & cycle FS sections from "Automotive Section" and the offroad/4x4 section from the "Classified section" I just think it's a bit redundant becuase those who post in either one of these will continue to make duplicate threads in the other sections.

I don't think it's unnecessary. In fact, the more specific subforums, the better.

4x4/offroad Classifieds
&
Cycle Classifieds

are now in Classifieds as their own entity. Whats wrong with that.

Offroad / 4x4 may get absorbed by some of the other classified forums at some point, but first we have to give users a chance to reconcile the movement of the forum from its previous location.

Same as we've always done, if a user double posts their threads will be closed.

well now users have to look in TWO (or THREE) locations for Offroad / 4x4 parts. Doesn't that sound ridiculous? Let's make 3 757 sections? you see the point.

If someone it looking for some 33" tires, the might look in both 4x4 sections, and the tires and wheels section.

If they were smart, they'd start in the 4x4 section IMO...

It's up to the person posting the classified ad to place it in the correct place, and IMO also up to whoever is moderating that area of the forum (to re-place it if necessary). If both of those work out, there shouldn't be any reason to put the thread in more than one place.

There's only one Offroad / 4x4 classified section. The "sub-forum" is just a link.

Correct, what ENG is saying that the link forwards it to the current location in the classifieds. It's not a duplicate section formula.
