i just picked up a 2000 ex shell that had a blown y8. it had been sittin for a lil over a year before i got it. i pieced together a ctr swap and put it in the coupe. i didnt get a ctr ecu with the motor so i put my b16 ecu from my si in it just till i got it chiped. i got the swap in and wired all up but when i go to turn the key nothing happens. the motor isnt turing over and i just noticed my fuel pump wasnt kicking on either. my battery is good and so is the starter. could it be the main relay causing the problem? i double checked all my grounds and connections and everything is good. im gonna go pick up a new test light tomorrow and start goin thru fuses and wires. any help or info would be awsome. thanks.

Try main relay. Also what wiring harness are you using?

I need to look at the main relay and im useing the ex wireing harness that came with the car

it'll crank but just wont turn over?


are you getting spark? Bad Dizzy maybe?

It's not turning over at all. All the lights inside work, but when you turn the key Nothing happens. I jumped the starter and it turned over but nothing past there.

if you have lights and headlights and stuff.. the you know its not the battery...

if it'll crank but not fire up... then you're prolly either missing spark, or fuel.

I'd check the spark plugs, the wires, and the distributor. before anything else.

It wont crank, fire, spark no fuel pump on. I ran a wire from the battery to the starter to see if i could jump the starter and see if it was bad and you heard it turn over but nothing else

you have a ground problem. where are you located?

To my knowledge all the grounds are hooked up, suffolk about 15 min over the jrb
