Default d series tranny question

ive got a 93 civic ex coupe with an auto tranny Im lookin for another tranny will a tranny from say 2000 civic ex work or does it have to be from a 92-95 civic. Thanks

its just somethin thats different in the eg and ek hydro lines about a bracket bolting up other than that its tha same

oh damn my bad i misread it was auto not manual it should work i hate auto trannys but im like 70% sure somebody got a second opinion autos arent my thing

you should be fine on bolting it up as long as it hydro to hydro .. you might just have to rewire your speed sensor or any sensor to the tranny so dont trash any old sensors might need them for the new install and probly wouldnt hurt to get the 2000 tranny sensor with it if you can.someone correct me if im wrong .
