Disney Armed Forces Salute
Has anyone here gotten these tickets recently? I know its only for Active Duty, retired, and activated members of the ReserveGuard. If you have no clue what i'm talkin about here is a link: http://orlando.about.com/od/disney/qt/wdwmilitary.htm
Because I'm a reservist they wont give me a free ticket, I tried. I was wondering how they would know if you are Active Duty or not because our CACs don't differentiate. Is there some database they check your name on or something?
If not, I was thinking I'd just go to the ticket office and tell them I was AD and get the tickets.

you have to get it at the gate. i tried at my ITT and they were only able to book the rooms.
yeah you save a few hundred on your 5 day pass.. but they GET YOU on all the money you end up spending down there :P
if your taking your fam with you for five days be ready to spend over 1000.
I was there when pitt won the bowl and santonio holmes paraded down main st.

i used the sea world while out in CA, and also have used BuschGardens, which is the closest, so most economical. Eat outside the park right before you go in, will do one meal inside then leave for dinner. Not sure if you can bring food in BG, but Disney actually allowed food and drinks in.
