Default Brakes are shot on the Civic

Man my brakes are gone!!!! Today my mastercylinder went south. Jeff Chenery drove my car during fun runs and it must have gone on his last run. He said that the pedal went to the floor in the last corner. It did it to me on the ride home, that is not a good feeling with a car in front of you not cones. Oh well stuff on the to-do list.

Anyway I did have a good time today. ACU4 is the best place to run in the area!!!!!!!!!!!

www.car-parts.com.

I got a Altima MC for 20 bucks including shipping and a 90 day warranty. Didn't have to get dirty either.

Could it just be something stupid like a major air bubble? Boiling the brakes will do that..

Wouldn't surprise me at all, Honda M/Cs are notorious for croaking. About the only thing to do if it IS the M/C is replace it, then during any future brake bleeding, don't push the pedal into the floor. Stick one foot behind the pedal so it stays 1-2 inches off the floor when you depress it. With the bleeder screw open, the piston can travel further than it normally does. That will drag the seals over any rust spots, hacking them up and making them leak like a sieve. I can't count how many people I know have trashed M/C's this way.
