anyone know of a reputable shop that can stretch tires onto wide, low offset rims?

 

i went through hell and back and finally found a shop, alloy wheel and tire in hampton. no place locally will do it for less than 95, alloy did it for 40 a wheel, but i have tire pressure monitoring system on my wheels.
no scratches
no knicks
and they will put the balances as far in the rim as you want.

i have 235 stretched onto 255wide wheels

 

A 235 on a 9 inch wide wheel (255s are square on 9Js) does not require any special skill, at most it will require two sets of hands on the tire.

You can go to Gloucester and hit up the Toyota dealer there, Razmus on here works there and he can mount anything.

You can also drive to Cars Inc in Portsmouth and they are very reasonable price wise and definitely know what they're doing when it comes to stretching tires.


OP what size are the tires and how wide are the wheels? I'm guessing you want to put some 195s or 205s on your sportmaxes....that will pop right on as well.

Cars inc has no problem doing this, they recently put a 205/45 on a 10 for one of my buddies.

stretching tires isnt even hard to do, i mounted all of mine myself, 225/40 on an 18x9.5

stretching is so sweet for fitment
