Default another cel 14 iacv thread

yes....another cel 14 iacv thread...its stressin me the hell out....i checked the cel...of course its 14(iacv)....i took it off and cleaned it...still a cel....replaced it with a working iacv from my other motor...still a cel....it idles very high...1500...while its at 1500 its bouncing up and down of course...when i engage the clutch, it idles at 1k....soon as i let go of the clutch it shoots back up to the bouncy 1500.....HELP HELP HELP HELP...

So you think the IACV is bad, and you replaced the IACV and it's still not working. So you've just found out that the IACV is not the problem, and that you still have an IACV CEL. So, the problem is probably the IACV wiring or the ECU itself.

iacv wiring as in the clip itself....so cut it off n splice on another one?

Yes, it could be the connector, or it could be a break in the wiring, or it could be the connector at the ECU. Or it could be the ECU itself.

Don't just cut the connector off and splice on a new one. You need to troubleshoot and find where the problem actually is, or else you'll just end up replacing everything and still might not find what's actually wrong. Blindly replacing stuff is a waste of time (and usually money). It helps to have a factory service manual, or at least a connector pinout from a website, and then you can test to see if you have power at the connector. Then you can check continuity between the connector and the ECU, and make decisions from there.

And please stop calling it a "clip". I know lots of other people say that too, but that doesn't make it any better..
It's a connector..

did you connect the right plug into the iac, cause the coolent switch, power steering plug and the iac have the same 2 pin plug..also check the coolant valve underneath the tb....
