Radiator leak advice
The metal fitting, right under the radiator cap, that runs to the reservoir, is leaking. It's not a bad leak, but when the car heats up enough, a bit of coolant slips out pass the threads. What seems the most logical thing to do is to take some of the left over silicone that I use for the valve cover, coat the threads and screw it back in. However, I'd think it would be wiser to ask the knowledgeable people at VA driven what they would do, and if they ever had a similar problem. Thanks for the replies in advance.

Re: Radiator leak advice
Replace the radiator. Don't be cheap on your cars cooling system. Rather have that band aid ass fix to get you by for....an hour-a week get you stuck in the middle of no where or possibly cause more damage?
Also, whatever you do don't use stop leak. That shit will clog up small coolant passages and just cause more trouble. Only use it if your in the boondocks with no other source of fixing it till you get back to civilization.
