Finally back home from the Field for the past 3 weeks, and come to my surprise My unit made it front page on the PILOT in regards to what we were out in the field for!

1st 111th Artillery Battalion, from the 116th IBCT Brigade, are proud to have had the opportunity to field the NEW HOWITZER weapon system, the M119 A2 Howitzer, prior we were using the stone age outdated M102 howitzer, this new weapon system is an excellent piece of machinery. We are amazed at its versatility as well as power.

I myself was not able to actually field and fire as im not a 13B which is the actual Gun Section, but i did get pretty close and was able to watch in amzement how the new system felt. Its a great feeling to know that we did extremely well with little to no complications with a brand new weapons system. I am actually an 11B now a 13D which is FDC, Fire direction control, which send down the line where the guns needs to shoot.

yeah i saw that. i didnt have to go to AT this year cause i had active duty time already this year. i should have gone anyways.
