I don't have the time or equipment to do it myself, and paying $30 at Jiffy Lube is just insane. Anyone have any recommendations of other places to go? I went to Meineke last time and they broke my hood rod bracket.

 

How is $30 "insane"? I spend more than that on just the oil/filter on each of my vehicles.

 

To be honest, oil prices are high. Your going to pay about $10.50 just about anywhere in labor for any place to change your oil.

The rest is oil fee.

I usually spend about 35-40 just on oil for my car.

30 is cheap, but fuck Jiffy lube. Go to an independent shop.

Yup I paid $26 the other day for 4 quarts of oil alone without a filter.

 

Haha I haven't switched to synthetic just yet. I usually have a coupon lying around for either free or like $15 but I can't find any.

 

Big al's on witchduck does all my oil changes since I moved into an aprtment. Manager is real cool get there at 8:25 saturday morning and leave y 8:40 and it is only 21 bucks with tax. They do my Trailblazer and my girls PT Loser. I did my own oil changes when i had my 240's.

 

wal mart at nimmo. i know a couple of people there and they will take care of you. decent prices too i think.

 

They fucked my V-dub last time i went there, they stripped the oil pan bolt. So my car was out for 2 days, to get a new oil pan, and bolt installed by VW. of course Wally world paid for all of it, but if they didnt use an impact wrench it would of never happened.

 

ok well if you go to wal mart ask for matt or ricky to do it haha. then youll be fine. they both should be working this afternoon/night
