both huge waste of money start at some independent shop and work your way up from the bottom
its cheaper and actually have real world experience from people who do it for a living and show you a trick or two

there a waste of money for real i went to ati but after u graduate u start off as a tech like ervybody else thats been at a shop for alittle while which means what? a HHHUUUGGGEEEE waste of money i quit when my boy graduated from ati and i work on the naval base and still made more money than he did which made me mad and ati lead me to believe i would on the average would make around 27,000 dollars a year i was pisssed when i found out i wasnt gonna make close to it

TCC....have we not had this discussion in three other treads?
Find a place where you can be the "shop bitch" and spend some time there bc you are not learning anything at ATI/UTI you cant read in books.

we had this discusion in one of my threads. check my threads..
but I toured ati and it sucked, everything looked old and outdated.
I should be takin a tour of TCC Wednesday.
and my friend toured Wyotech in PA and said it was awsome and that he was definatly goin.

My cousin went to Wyotech and said he wished he hadn't. They defenitely have nice facilities with great equipment (much better than ATI), but being you'll be an out of state student. expect to pay around 20k. ATI was 15k for me and I was living at home when I went there.
Both of us agree that TCC would have been the better choice for a fraction of the price. And I do mean a significant difference in price.
