have you checked your vtec fluid??..the fill bottle is behind the drivers tailight...just remove the tailight and you will see the dipstick

Check solonoid with a 12 volt source and see if its clicking. Check to make sure speed sensor is properly working otherwise it will think car is not moving and hit revlimit or 2step at a stop. Fill your oil.

These two.
The VSS is on the trans, just under your intake. spray a little brake cleaner in there, and that should do the trick (if the sensor is good)
