what should the temperature be at on my 09 R6? its a little over 200.

you should be fine.
mine gets to 220 and the fan kicks in.

yeah you will be ok. if you had hits 220 and kickin fan a lot. check thermostat.

ok cool i did not know how hot was to hot. i looked in the manual and it tells me nothing. but i do have a light that would come on if something was wrong and its not on... idk bike is new so i still need to learn the ends and outs of it. thanks

Surprising being the owners manual should have all that info for you and at what temp you should be worried about. I know mine does.

you can look at mine its not there all it tells me is how to check if the fluid is low

Your owners manual doesn;t have this? I found this in the manual from the R6 site. I don't own one but it's what I found.
