Just wondering what ya'll 1/8th times are. i went for the 2nd time tonight on my current bike (04' ZX-10R with two brother slip on and power commander) and got a 7.002@110mph (couldve been a little better, considering i had a all out drag bike beside me and couldnt even hear myself think lol) on my 2ns run (only ran twice, and got a 7.09@115mph the 1st time). I hear of people on 1000's hitting the high 6's but havnt seen it much, just wondering how many do can get that too

I believe that was a perfect run for me. everything else has been 7.02-7.25. how hard are you leaving?

 

thats really good man. Im leaving around 5-7k i think, no spinning the tires. I need to get em to spin so i can know how hard i can launch though. I read where about the fastest time for a stock zx10 is around 6.8x, so yeah lol. How hard are you leaving?

 

6k and rolling the clutch pretty fast. first is 1 wheel and starting to come back down as i hit 2nd

 

i rolled my clutch fairly fast too, when i was at the end of letting it out it was on one wheel and came back up in second too. bars front wheel was shaking a good bit so i let off, but i turned the steering damper up for the second run. I think we took a vid of it, ill post it if i get and you can let me know what you think

 

Anyone going to the 1/8th mile track this friday (5/29/09) at Northeast Dragway let me know im going from Va beach maybe could do a little group ride or whatever i have a 3 bike trailer but im only takin one on it.

 

i took my 01 zx9 out to northeast about a month ago, my clutch was slipping pretty bad, but still ran consistant 6.6 @ 109mph

 

thats pretty good, mine was at shelor motor mile. Times wills also vary upon tracks of course

 

Best I have run is a 6.2.... was there Friday and best that night out was a 6.3 first time out in like 8 months first time on that bike in like 6 months... other than riding to Hooters was hoping to pull a 6.1 but only got 4 or 5 passes in. The track was moving really slow lots of cars breaking on the track requiring clean up. As I was packing up heard another go down in the right lane so that were just running the left lane. Your times are not bad they will get better with more seat time. What were your 60 ft times?

 

what bike do you have? My 60ft was like 1.8xx
