Alrigth took me forever (almost a year) to get the headlight/gauge thing together. The first pics are how it use to look. I knew it was ugly I was too busy with college, it was my last semester (woot!!!) so I didnt have the time or tools to fix it up. But been out for a few weeks, so i was able to do some wrenching and cleaned it up pretty nicely. Comments welcome!

Thers a few things I could clean up a bit more. But I'm mostly satisfied.

 

You took off the windscreen and added different mirrors

 

and moved the headlight in ALOT. looks much cleaner.

still say ditch the guages, but that's coming from a guy who hasn't owned a bike with a speedo in 10+ years, so it's just my opinion.

 

That and I got rid of the whole fairing stay. Which was a pain...Look closer.
I might actually see if I can put the windscreen back on to cover up the guages, gotta play with it a lil more...

 

Nice improvement, but it still looks like it has too much plastic on it to be a "street fighter".

Ok can someone please explain "WHAT" exactly a street fighter stands for? I mean I know that streetfighers never have plastics but for what reason?
