RB25DET in an S14
This might be a stupid question but I just want to make sure. Does any anything on the dash need to be changed? And what are some tips and just all around stuff that worked for you that you could tell me?
Please keep all negative comments to yourself if you have any.
Thanks

you shouldnt have to actually change anything on the dash itself, short of getting your tach recalibrated for a 6cyl. as far as tips, DO A LOT OF RESEARCH. google is your best friend. i would personally make a budget of what you need before you even start the swap. remember, what you NEED. youll need a custom downpipe to clear your steering shaft and stuff like that. take a look at 240sxforums.com, theyll have a complete break down of what you need to make it work. i would stay away from worrying about too many motor mods until you get the engine in your car and running. remember, RESEARCH. there's no pain like getting halfway through a swap like this and realizing you dont have a flex capacitor or something vital for time travel like that.

McKiney mount kit is the best out there. Don't bother with top hat, its not what its made out to be i had first hand experience. Fitment and quality is far from top notch.
Factory tach can not be calibrated to perfection (also a pain)of factory gauge so ideally swap the clusters . it will save time.

If ya still have any questions call a shop i use to chill at. there words: "if theres a silly ass motor swap that can go in a nissan we have done it" lol. Considering last time i was there and saw them cage the front of a 280z so they could drop all the RD26DeTT drive train in it. I have to agree.
