Angry 2003 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V

I'm new to this, not very car smart and a terrible speller, so bear with me...I copied the sample one and then I'm doing what I can...

* Name: Peggy
* Location: Hampton, VA
* Means on contact: PM, thread, call/text 4404523826 or email UUpunkergurl@aol.com
* Trades: I don't have the title yet, but if you want to work something out...
* Price: Wanting to see what I could get

* Description: I'm selling my 2003 Nissan Sentra SER Spec V. Let me preface this by saying this car does not drive. I bought it back in July of 2007. I went on deployment and my at the time bf (now husband) spun it out and into a fence. The passanger side incurred almost no damage, but the driver side doors are pretty crushed (though still operational) along with some hood and trunk damage. We thought we'd be able to save the money to fix them, when what we think is a blown piston ring happened. I don't really speak car, but it sounds like marbles are clanking around in the engine and there are metal shavings in the oil. I can't afford to fix or replace the engine. I want to get rid of it. The whole thing or part by part. Everything else is in pretty good shape. Unfortunately I still owe quite a bit of money on the thing (stupidly got excited, paid too much AND flipped almost 2g's from my jeep ) so I don't have the title (NFCU does), but I'll gladly work up some sort of contract and get it notorized if you're willing to do something like that.

Please contact me if you're interested.
* Details:
o Mileage: 71,000ish
o Exterior Condition: driver side doors severly dented. some trunk and hood damage.
o Interior Condition: Pretty good.
o CARFAX: No, sorry
o Modifications: Body kit done by hubby. NOT done well.
o Service: Mostly did my own oil changes. Haven't done much else.

* Pictures:

I also have bigger versions of these pictures if you would like emailed copies. Thank you very much.

You would probably get more by parting it out, but even still I don't know if you can make all that 9k back by even doing that. I would post up the seats and the wheels on sr20forum.com. Alot of people take those parts and swap them on older sentras/200sx's

If you do part how much would you want for the wheels?

Oh and the 6speed trans is worth quite a bit to so I would post that on there too.

i believe those cars had faulty motors from the factory and they will replace the motor free of charge if it was nissans fault...my cousin had a ser and that situation occured w/ him...check with the dealer/nissan.

That's the second time I've heard about the dealer recalls. Any idea on how I'd get ahold of them?

And if not, dude, I dunno. Gimme a good price for anything and I'm down. I'm not even really concerned about getting the 9k. Just paying it down some and getting the hubby a beater to drive around.

call the nissan dealer and ask...they will ask for your vin number...if its in the recall then they will fix/replace it...but in all honesty...

the car in that condition and not running....its worth about 1500 at most...

if you have the stock header on it probably exploded and destroyed the engine. either that or the butterfly valves in the intake manifold came loose. not to bring you down, but there is no hope getting nissan to cover this.

trying to sell mine without any engine problems good luck to you
