SO I always ending up having to go to VA Beach on Friday evening and arrive in Hampton at about 5. I end up getting to Virgina beach at 6:45.

Fuck this damn tunnel. Can anyone tell me if it is faster to go the 664 way? Anything I can do about this other than going at a different time? I've only been through it 4 times now but every single time has been at least an hour wait.

How much faster is it? Google maps says it is an extra 13 miles, but it is worth it?

its sooo worth it, im tryin to help you, fuck google listen to me. i do it all the time, its interstate driving so 13 miles is nothing, would u rather go 13 more miles moving at 70 mph or sit for an xtra hour?

I have this same argument with my wife concerning the 101 in LA. We take the 101 for 25 miles, it can take up to 3 hours. We take the 91 (a parallel road) and go an extra 5 fucking miles, and we can drive it in less than 25 minutes.

Going the 664, with virtually no traffic and more lanes, is better.

personally, I recommend the G5 though. You need to get one.

Last time I went down I would have sworn there was a sign saying that way was backed up like 2 1/2 miles... Which is why I wondered if it really was that much faster.

I went to Busch Gardens with the wife and a bunch of friends today. Coming back to VB, she was right behind me. I took 664, she took HRBT, I beat her home by 20 minutes. Go 664.
