state inspection
do you need defrosters to pass? cause the car im buying doesnt have a blower so im not sure if i should buy it anymore thanks

Im almost positive you have to have defrosters to pass state inspection, unless theyve changed it recently.

Apparently if any dash lights are on you don't pass. My e-brake light stays on all the time and they said they can't pass me cause of that. It's bullshit.

Blower has to work. They got me for that last year, along with a grocery list of problems that needed to be fixed.

I've never had an inspector check my hvac during an inspection. That's not to say that it's not needed, just an observation of mine.
