Inventory Marketing Associate

The eCommerce Division is looking for someone to help us better market the Pre-Owned Vehicles and High-Line cars of Checkered Flag and Drivers World. The Inventory Marketing Associate will be working directly with the eCommerce Director and Pre-Owned Managers to develop processes at each location in the pursuit of better displaying vehicles online.

Skills needed:

* Assertive
* Ability to work with little supervision
* Flexible schedule due to weather and sunlight
* Creative skills in simple writing
* Ability to take straight photographs


Bonus skills (makes a stronger applicant):

* Photography
* Photoshop or Photo-editing knowledge
* Background in Inventory Marketing
* Ability to drive a manual transmission


Core Job Responsibilities:

1. Photographing of Pre-Owned & High-Line vehicles for professional display online
2. Printing and placement of window stickers on used vehicles
3. Placing descriptive comments on each used vehicle online

Though I do know what it is, I'm not really at liberty to discuss it. If you email Alex though he'll be pretty open about it.

The location varies. You'll be responsible for taking pictures of all the pre-owned cars in Checkered Flag and Driver's World Inventory, hosting them online, and then writing a comment about each vehicle. It's a pretty good gig.

Like I said, I would have done it, especially with my new work schedule, but just determined that it's better for me financially to stay in my current position!

Does this position require daytime hours? Or could this position be done during evenings and weekends?

 

There really is no set schedule, as long as the job gets done. The Checkered Flag and Driver's World Pre-Owned Inventory changes daily. If it gets to the point where you aren't getting it done, a much more strict work schedule will be enforced.

It will be mostly daytime hours during the week. The weekends are a bit too busy at the dealership to be pulling vehicles aside to take pictures. Evenings aren't too likely, as pictures are preferred during the day with proper lighting.
