i need to know if a D16 EX/SI hydro tranny would wok with a jdm sohc ZC?

it will bolt right up but you might need to swap clutches. you will need to get a clutch that will match the grooves in the input shaft of the tranny

yeah it will bolt up ...im pretty sure i think on that you may have to get clutch...but i maybe wrong

 

yeah it sure will but like the other guys said you might have to get a new clutch but if its the obd1 sohc zc im sure its the same but the obd0 is different i believe the obd0 is 21 spline while the obd1 is 20 or visa versa just put a mark on one and start counting, hahahha but the real question is will you get the full power outta the motor cause i used to have one in my crx actually it was the dohc zc but same power ratings and both are very high strung motors thats why they made the zc trannys with slightly longer gear ratios, but i had a jdm L3 tranny in my crx and it was very quick but really no top end cause of the shorter gear ratios, hope this helps ya out man
