Default built boost gsr low numbers torque loss

JAcob
Farmville va

I have just finished my b18c1 build and set it up on the dyno and had a major upset.
need some input

Keep in mint everything in my set up only has like 5 miles on it

Fully built gsr
k1 rods
cp 9 to 1 pistons
acl race bearings
all the good hardware

fully built head
crower springs and retainers
itr cams
ported and polished
balanced

t3 gt40 360 thrush bearing turbo
sls tubular manifold
tial 38mm wg
turbo xs bov
large fmic with 2 1/2 ic piping

made 280whp at 6000rpm wich looked to be decent

then when pushed for a full pull on dyno it only made
360whp!!! it wouldnt make any more and that was at 16.5 lbs of boost with added timing
has boost creap up to 18psi so the torque curve looked to be normal for a boosted gsr but realy with boost creap in should have climbed so from my gathering torque is droping off bad
no boost leaks fuel is good and everything is running good car screams and runs like a scolded dog but just dosent make the power it should

Any average person knows this setup should make way more than that even tho i was on 93 pump gas

give me your input please!!!

You're probably running out of power with the cam you have. May need a cam upgrade.
I've seen people use ITR cams and get good numbers so check to see if the turbo is maxing out or if you need to switch to a new tuning shop.

that would not be a freak thing. that would be a "i did not tighten the timing belt properly" or "i set it a tooth off" thing. one tooth will make a difference.

I know but the people who did my engine build and timed it. Very slight chance that the timing is an issue and i think matt shue would have noticed that when tuning it. You think it being such a big turbo maybe i needed to push like 20 - 25 psi to get the 450whp that i want?

turbo is

compressor: GT40

.70 a/r

61mm inducer

flow: 65 lbs/min 832cfm

turbine: T3

.63a/r

stg3 turbine wheel standard

360* thrust bearing standard

*same compressor section as GT35R
