93 si wont start.....
been looking over everything all night/morning. i turned my car off, came out a hour later, went to start it and nothing happens. Everything power in the car works, including the fuel pump. when you go to start it, its like there is no power going to the starter, i tried jumping it, i took off the starter and got it tested everything is fine, all the fuses are fine, i'm lost so far...lmk if yall have any info...thanks
oh the car is bone stock as far as the motor
update, just jumped the starter with some wire and the car started but wont start with the key still.....any suggestions>?

try jumping power to the starter wire at the ignition harness, if it cranks then its a problem with the ignition if it wont crank then move on to the next thing. starter wire is thick black with a white tracer

Re: 93 si wont start.....
just did that a min ago and it started fine....main relay? there was one sitting underneath the seat when i bought the car, maybe its been a problem before in this car. would the main relay make everything work but the starter?
thanks for the reply

if your fuel pump works every time its not your main relay (fuel injection relay). have your battery checked, if its the one where you can open to add distilled water that may be the problem, low water not holding a charge or if its maint. free have it tested, also check loose wiring to and from battery and starter. hot weather is a factor for issues.

i said jump power to the starter wire in the ignition harness not at the starter itself its in the ignition harness under the dash, its black and white and the 12v wire is all white there both thick. if it starts then youll have to replace the ignition like i had to in my 95 si i had the same problem thats why i told you to do it that way
