Default Dyno'd on E98 - 711whp

Hey all, I went down to Coltrane's a few weekends ago and dyno'd some cars including my own. I have been running E98 for about 8 months now and absolutely love the stuff. I'm still having some software issues trying to tune the stock ecu and can't get rid of the pesky 7500 rpm rev limit. I'm done trying to figure out the stock ecu code on my own and will be switching to either a power fc or nistune hardware soon. I'm happy to have made this much on stock ecu, using my own code and free universal software. My goal was 700 on the stock bottom end, but after looking at the graphs, it seems like 800 will be fairly easy once I can rev it out.

So when you're running alcohol, do you have to flush the fuel system out after you run it? I know in our karts (which is methanol, not ethanol) we have to flush them out with gas after racing or the alcohol will ruin the seals in the motor.

Nice numbers, by the way. Guess you gotta get new license plates now, huh?

nah, ethanol doesn't corrode the fuel system like methanol does. I've put about 300 gallons of E98 through the car now - no way I could handle flushing the system after every drive.

lol new plates are already on the car, va dmv works quick

Is it an ethanol specific fuel system since everything I've heard states that running it through a fuel system designed for gas will screw it up in the long run

nope, just big injectors and two pumps, nothing special. A lot of people were scared of ethanol a few years ago when it started becoming more common, I guess that's where those rumors came from..

haha, I'm content right now driving it a couple times a week and being a dyno queen once or twice a year. I felt like I was at a stopping point with the car a few weeks ago (when I was talking to you about selling it and moving on) but after the dyno I sorta got interested in it again..

I remember when this car was for sale years ago, looks/sounds great.
