has anyone stored their vehicles in the ENC/VA beach area?

-did you get a 10x20 or 10x15?

-climate controlled or not?

-how much? where? cheaper in certain surrounding areas?

-and the debates.. full fluids or empty? jackstands or no?

im looking to store for a few years here :?


and i dont need to hear 'i'll store it for you'. please leave the jibba jabba out.

 

get a climate controlled.
fresh oil change. then when you take it out run it then change it again.
put it on stands(on the suspension to prevent droop) or youll flat spot your tires.
full tank of gas with a bottle of sta-bilizer
a very good wash and wax job with a good car car cover(not a tarp)
and throw a few moth balls underneath the car(not in it)
put a rag or sock in your tail pipe to prevent rodents from getting in it.
and remove your battery and place it on a peice of wood so it isnt on the ground.
ummmm i may be forgeting somthing but im sure someone eles will chime in also.

 

im wondering if i can pick up one of those roll on cocoon things also. drive onto it, pull the top over and zip it up. anyone know where those can be bought?

yes thats what i was thinking.. but i dont have time to order and wait on shipping. also .. wont have power.. so i was thinking of the bag and like industrial sized dissectant (sp?) to keep moisture under tabs.
