what hp is the kohler thats on it?

what year is the mower?
was it ever serviced?
what happened to engine?
lack of oil?

it has 14hp on it right now
i believe its a 1998 model
it has been serviced (somewhat) regualry
threw a rod
and dunno why, it just did, had oil in it

just bought a new house, im closing on it the 25th, i figure ill just buy a new zero turn once i move in, in the meantime i have a little john deere 38" cut riding mower to hold me over, i was going to swap the engine out but dont really have the time to mess with it, i i have a phone numbers to a couple engines that will fit this that ill pas on with the mower,
