Can you re-use a throw out bearring? im not sure if you can or not, the TOB and clutch came of a 98 d series, and im putting it on a 88-91 d15b2.

you can, just make sure it is not warped. but a new TOB is what, like $5? just replace it anyways. it'll come out

 

oh nevermind, i didnt know they where that cheap. for my old car it was like $50

 

actually i just found out its around $33 for a throw out bearring

 

get a new one, you dont want your clutch to stick because of an old ass throw out bearing, and lube the hell out of that and the shift fork ball joint to ensure your shit will be properly lubed for the long run.........

 

dont be a cheapass. REPLACE IT. consider how many miles are on it now and think about it. if it goes bad, you will have to spend another 3-4 hours under you car pulling the tranny and replacing that bearing.....or you could spend 30 bux and 2 minutes now....
