Has anyone done an hid upgrade? I just got one, followed the distructions(instructions) but I still blew the "upgraded" 20amp fuse......the kit mentions postiive and negative ground- and honda/acura are negative ground, correct? This is for the polarity adjuster, I don't have a multimeter or I would check...mounting the hardware is done, no problems with that.

 

I have never seen a vehicle that was positive ground if that helps.

 

I haven't either, but we're talkin about Honda's here.
For real though, if you went exactly by the directions... maybe it's a hardware failure? Things can be banged up and damaged internally in shipping.
Go to Radio Shack and get a $20 multimeter, you don't need anything super exact, just to let you know if it's working or not. Then test all the shit.

 

Maybe it was referring to a "positive" connection and "negative ground" connection separately, and it was just worded as if they were both grounds. Only your negative should be grounded.

 

yes I understand what you are saying........it was worded weird, but still nothing, and now I can only use one arm.....cuz I just broke my wrist snowboarding.......
