I ordered a "Chipped P28" ECU from J-K-Tuning.com last friday with a JDM H22A basemap and paid altogether $180. Got it yesterday and it turns out its a P06 ECU. Now on the site when you select "chipped P28" ecu it says,
"Please note, this ecu can be either a genuine P28 or a converted ECU. The ecu will have vtec function added to it in either case, and will be ready for use in a vtec car."
My question is:
What is a converted ECU? Is it just the P06 casing with all P28 internals? Because the Chipped P28 is $160, and the Chipped P06 is $125.. and i got a P06 it looks like.. and also i got the Hondata/Neptune EMS. How can i tell if it is a converted "P28" and really is chipped?
-Thanks.. i can provide pics if necessary.

Ok.. so all my mounts fell off and my motor fell out my car?.. interesting. If you dont have any information on this topic, go fuck with the other morons reposting and bringing back 3 year old threads, and are missing like 50 keys on their keyboard.
